Mrs. Keelin Pierce, Principal [email protected]
Mrs. Pierce earned her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and master's degree from Washburn University. Mrs. Pierce began her education career as an elementary teacher for eight years here at Whitson Elementary! Following this, she served as an interventionist and later the Assistant Principal at Williams Science and Fine Arts Magnet School. In 2015, Mrs. Pierce transitioned back to Whitson as the building principal. This is her 21st year with TPS and 11th year as the building principal at Whitson. Mrs. Pierce is a passionate educator who is dedicated to ensuring all students receive a high-quality education. Mrs. Pierce is a proud mother of two girls and a boy. She is a native and long-time resident of Topeka who enjoys spending time with her children and family.
Mrs. Nicole Hinck, Building Admin Intern [email protected]
Mrs. Hinck grew up in the Topeka area and brings a wide-range of experience and dedication to education. She earned her undergraduate degree from Emporia State University and holds Master's degrees from both Emporia State University and Pittsburg State University. With 30 years of experience in education, Mrs. Hinck has served in various roles including General Education Teacher, Special Education Teacher, and Consulting Teacher. She is a passionate and enthusiastic educator who is deeply committed to the success of all students. Mrs. Hinck is honored to serve as the Assistant Principal at Whitson Elementary. Outside of school, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
